McKala and Xenia will be taking the bus eventually. We sent in the pictures and copies of their passport. We are just waiting for the passes to arrive in the mail. It will cost us 125€ each for the year. They are nice busses. They look like big tourist busses. It is cheaper than driving them an hour every day, (15 minutes each way twice a day) They will probably prefer it since they should never be late like they were today because I tried to drive them without using the GPS and I must have missed a turn. They were much better than Dakota who begged to be taken home when I walked them back to school late after lunch. McKala shared at dinner that students are not supposed to just open the door and walk in. They knock and wait to be invited in. I now remember when Kim and I were late to our class we just opened the door and apologized as we walked in late. Later a French woman knocked on the door and after the teacher said that she could enter did she open the door. Now we know. I looked into taking the bus and Metro to class. A year pass would cost each of us about 400€. That would be a good deal if it were just one of us, but for the both of us it doesn’t make sense. We have to spend 4€ a day for parking and probably 2€ for gas. That is about 20€ a week or 800€ for the year. We might as well drive and enjoy the convenience. Then imagine getting bus passes for the whole family. It is absolutely cheaper to drive.
