I got my work computer back and after 12 hours on the line with tech support I was finally up and running. Our home computer is still in the shop. I don’t know why it is taking so long, but Frys took longer so I can’t really complain too much. Hopefully we will have it back next week. Meanwhile I was able to get a couple of pictures off our camera.

This is Kim headed out to the market. The market is practically next door ( à côté ). Notice she is carrying a bright green shopping bag. We still forget to bring our shopping bags. Eventually it will become a habit because there are no baggers or bags at the checkout. Kim has already made a friend who knows her name, Fanny. Everyone has been so helpful. One lady walked around the store with Kim as she tried to find some unusual baking items (baking soda and shredded coconut). Try doing that with hand gestures and broken French.

This is a picture of the dining room from the kitchen. We are still eating American style which is all the food on the table at once and quickly. I hope we adopt the French style which is much longer and in courses.

We had 30 people over for lunch last Sunday. The boy who is looking at the camera is Clement. That is his first name.

I like making fires in the fireplace. The house is very cool and with the weather cool and rainy a fire is always welcomed. With my work scheduled nominally on AZ time I can go to bed pretty late. Last night I went to bed at 2AM and Xenia woke me up at 7AM to build a fire. I did. We do not have a TV. Our DVD player died. We are very limited in our entertainment. Kim wants to get TV reception. I am against it. Kim will probably win that disagreement.
